Grid Focusing Screen

Canon 5D-3 Here is one of the cheapest upgrades that one can do to a Canon 5D - a grid focusing screen! Ever since switching from my Nikon D100 to a Canon 20D I have missed the grid focusing screen - a software function in the D100.

A friend pointed me to this accessory in the Canon line - Canon EE-D (Mfr# 0829B001). Cost is $34.95 at B&H.

Installation is straight forward and it can be removed at any time.

Not as simple as a built in grid that you can turn on or off via the menu system - but it does the job.

This is now my permanent focusing screen.
